As always, Catharsis remains committed to supporting and meeting the needs of our clients, partners and therapists.
The current crisis is likely to make individuals feel fearful and anxious – however, this is what we, as therapists, deal with on a daily basis; we are experts on dealing with trauma and knowing what happens to people when they have little control over their circumstances.
Whilst we cannot offer face to face Arts Therapy sessions at the moment, we are still here for our clients and partners; we are ready to respond appropriately to needs – so give us a call to discuss how we can best support you.
Catharsis is committed to providing therapeutic services that are tailored to the needs of a diverse range of clients. Our skilled therapists and have a versatile approach to creative psychotherapy, which allows full engagement at all levels.
Catharsis Arts Therapy centre is located in a quiet and confidential location, easily accessible from the centre of Derby.. We have a pool of therapists available to see individuals, couples and families wishing to benefit from our services independent.
Catharsis deliver training specifically for professionals working within the health community, social care and education arena. A variety of training packages are on offer that can be tailored to fit the needs of the organisation and professionals.
The core of Catharsis community work is geared towards delivering the Arts Therapies to hard-to-reach groups and individuals within schools and other institutions that care for socially excluded individuals.
We aim to have a pool of therapists with a variety of skills and experience to call on, as and when work becomes available. Work can be in a variety of settings and may consist of short-term or long-term contracts.
We understand that 1:1 and group therapy required during your studies to become a therapist can be costly. We offer our services at a discount rate to current undergraduate and postgraduate masters students.
